Guarantee and Conditions

The producer Midea offered through authorized representatives in Ukraine different warranty periods on the various types of equipment, namely:

  1. At the residential split systems from 1 year to 5 years from the date of installation, but initially the guarantee is issued for one year and extended further for the next year (but no more than four), with the mandatory conditions of the annual technical service with obligatory note in warranty card, and air-conditioners of the series, such a service can make any special and services companies, and Authorized Service Centers (ASC)
  2. At the LCAC-split ductless systems and CCU and duct systems with a capacity of 3-22 kW, multi-split systems Series DC-multi (free-match) - from 1 year to 3 years from the date of installation, but initially the guarantee is issued for one year and is extended further, to subsequent year (but no more than three) - the same conditions as outlined in paragraph 1.1. On elements of tubes, piping, wiring and wired wall-mounted remote control, valves are warranted for 1 year.
  3. On the window and mobile (portable) air conditioners and household appliances (refrigerators, mini-bars, freezers, humidifiers, microwaves, bread maker, drinking water coolers) installed the original or extended warranty - 1 year from date of purchase.
  4. On the commercial air-conditioning systems (VRF, CCU and duct systems with a capacity of 22 kW and up, hydraulic, heat pump units and fresh-air  ventilation equipment) - install a separate special conditions for WARRANTY - namely, the warranty period - 1 year for indoor unit systems, VRF, fan coil units, air handling units, heat pump unit and the outdoor unit, the CCU, chillers package - from 1 year to 3 years from the date of installation, but initially the guarantee is issued for one year and extended further in the subsequent year (but no more three) - the same conditions as outlined in paragraph 1.1.
    These conditions do not include a guarantee for the external sub-units, components, automation devices and other possible options that are installed on the site and are not the product delivery from the factory, Midea, in any case, air conditioning systems and equipment with a capacity greater than 150 kW initial margin obligations of the manufacturer and the supplier are made according to the contract and can be extended only when filling the technical test certificate after installation, familiarize representatives of the supplier with the quality of performance of installation and of materials used, providing design and computational documents and signing a separate contract between the end user and the supplier/installer  Equipment pro quarterly / seasonal / annual –(depending on the type of equipment) maintenance (technical especially service procedures) with a mandatory fixing of the documentary into journal/passport equipment. The equipment with a capacity greater than 150 kW have the right to maintain and diagnose by ASC only!
  5. Warranty is not available to the wireless (infrared) remote controls, batteries, and other supplies (plugs, caps, protective caps and covers, gratings, fasteners and hardware, etc.)

Suppliers, dealers, ASC reserves the right to refuse warranty service if:

  • The lack or fake of warranty card or documents confirming the purchase of equipment.
  • The end of warranty period of the equipment. The warranty period is counted from the date of sale to the consumer, the date fixed in the installation warranty card.
  • The absence in the Warranty card marks about planned maintenance, with the base warranty period has expired (ill-treatment on the extended warranty)
  • Lack of identification equipment - is missing or unreadable serial number/labels.
  • The model and/or serial number of the equipment actually do not match with the declared data or data made to the warranty card.
  • On the equipment without approval of the supplier or the ASC were installed additional devices not specified by the manufacturer?
  • The buyer or by third parties is self-mismatched repair
  • If the property damage was caused by:
  • Violations of transport regulations.
  • Violations of the rules of operation and/or instructions from the user manual.
  • Faulty installation or breach of the rules of commissioning.
  • Fires, floods and other natural disasters, the behavior of animals and insects.
  • Surges and other electrical faults, leading to characteristic damage power circuits, components, contacts and compressors.
  • Mechanical damage to the parts, components or composite units as a whole
  • Exposure to chemicals, maritime climate or operation of transport, not target condition of working
